Dakota Wernet – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS competitive cheerleading team members have been announced.
LRHS Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher aide and cheer coach Bristol Vestal held a competitive team tryout on Oct. 18 after school.
The team is scheduled to compete at multiple competitions including the 2023 Manatee County fair.
Members were announced the same night on Oct. 18.
The members are –

- Alanna Maldonado
- Michelle Wagner
- Bridget Coppens
- Audra Rappold
- Taylor Timmons
- Destiny Connolly
- Amy Zeitler
- Katie-Colline
Member alternates include Allana Fishell, Madison Letaw, and Ava Laurie.

Vestal said, “This year, we are competing in the small, all girls’ division. I feel like we have a lot of great tumbling and stunting this season.”
Sophomore Amy Zeitler said, “I’m excited for this year, we have a lot of talent on the team and I’m looking forward to a great season.”
