(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS girls varsity volleyball team drove to Hillsborough Newsome High school (NHS) for the district champions, losing 12-25, 9-25, 17-25.

The game was the Mustangs’ last of the season.

Sophomore Hannah Sprungman said, “We all came prepared for this game, but it just did not work in our favor. It was a great season, and I would not have changed anything about it.”

Sophomore Mira Ways said, “I only played with varsity a couple times, including this game. Everyone tried their best and that is all that we could do. We are still upset about the outcome, but it was a good season overall.”
