(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS girls softball team held their annual interest meeting after school on Thursday, Oct. 6.
Several important dates were discussed and are as follows:
- Checkup 4 p.m. Oct. 13 at LRHS softball fields
- Parent Meeting 7 p.m. Nov. 29 in the media center
- LRHS Winter Camp 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dec. 28-29 at the LRHS softball fields
- Field Day 8 a.m. Jan. 7 at the LRHS softball fields
- Try outs start at 3 p.m. Jan. 23-24 at the LRHS softball fields

Athletic and Insurance forms need to be completed and turned in to Athletic Director Kent Ringquist to participate in athletic activities.
Senior Peyton Knight said, “I am excited for my senior season because I get to get back onto the field and be in the team atmosphere again.”
The Mustangs are two-time defending state softball champions.
