Ethan Kranert – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS esports team hosted a meeting yesterday on their Discord server, and named new officers and team captains.
They also reviewed what the matches would look like for each game and taught players how to set up their games.
At their last meeting, the team went over registration, and introduced officer positions.
The program has two Rocket League teams this season, one Valorant team, and several Super Smash Bros. Players.
LRHS reading teacher and esports coach Kari Keech-Babcock said, “I’m extremely excited for the season to kick off! We currently have a few new players this year.”

Junior Ethan Kranert will be the club’s new president with junior Kaylie Adams vice-president.
“This meeting will be our first on Discord and then I hope to have an in-person meeting to touch base after the first week of games. I’m excited to announce our officers and to see another start to a fresh season,” Keech-Babcock continued.
The fall season will run until Dec. 12.
