Reed continued, “Overall, it was a great day for the Mustangs as we had several girls run their personal best times, several others ran a season, best, and the rest were very close to their personal bests.”
Freshman Skyler Quigley said, “The Bradenton runners’ invitational was a meet to remember. All our varsity girls came in the top 20, and we earned a team score of 29, putting the Lakewood Ranch girls in first place. Our boys team also performed well, with a strong second place overall finish.”
The Manatee Tri-County Championship will be on Saturday, Oct. 15 at North Port High School.
