Joyce Gad– Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As the first quarter comes to an end Friday, many LRHS Mustangs are reflecting on their first nine weeks of the school year.

LRHS upperclassmen are facing and reminiscing on their last years of high school as they work on building their future with college courses and applications.

LRHS underclassmen are building their foundation and learning what high school is all about and enjoying the first of their experiences.

Junior Ramzia Sorathia feels bittersweet about the quarter ending.

Sorathia said, “I feel relieved, but at the same time somewhat sad that I’m almost done with high school.”

Sorathia hopes to change her study habits and figure out how to balance her study schedule as a junior with marching band practices and competitions.
