(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) club is up and running for the 2022-2023 school year.

The club actively works to end destructive decisions by LRHS students.

The club was formerly known as Students Against Drunk Driving (S.A.D.D.) and its purpose is to support “students making good decisions regarding mental health and drugs.”

S.A.D.D. adviser and LRHS business teacher Sharelies Rodriguez explained that S.A.D.D. achieves its goals by having students take a pledge.

“They pledge to live a healthy life and make good decisions,” said Rodriguez.

With drunk driving ending over 10,00 lives per year, S.A.D.D. works to curve the statistic by encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
