Miranda Notaro takes over as LRHS attendance secretary

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – An LRHS original has moved on to a new opportunity.  Secretary Darla Walker has moved from LRHS to Manatee Technical College (MTC).

Walker was at LRHS on the school’s first day 24 years ago, starting in the cafeteria and ending her service as attendance secretary. She is now at MTC east campus as a secretary and is looking forward to a new adventure.

“My favorite part was the students and staff were like family and seeing the students excel in things that they accomplished in their four years there,” said Walker.

Walker is going to miss the people that she worked with for all these years and the students the most.

LRHS welcomed new attendance secretary, Miranda Notaro. Notaro was just hired and just moved to Florida from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Before Lakewood she worked at a private school in Las Vegas. She is most excited for, “learning new things and meeting new people,” said Notaro.
