(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity football team beat Celebration High School at Friday’s Homecoming game.

The game was a 28-7 win for the Mustangs.

The win was much needed as the Mustangs came off a loss from the week prior.

Head Coach Rashad West said, “It’s always good to get a win, especially at home on Homecoming. It was good for the program.”

The Mustangs now have a record of 3-1.

Following the win, the Mustangs must now prepare for future district games.

West continued, “We are still searching for the consistency I’m looking for each day. We are doing well, but we must be better once we get into district play.”

The team will face the Seminole Lyman Greyhounds away at 7 p.m. on Friday at Lyman High School in Longwood.
