Jennifer Shank – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Homecoming spirit week is winding up with an eventful weekend.

Friday’s theme was LRHS spirit day. Mustangs dressed in school colors and LRHS gear, as well as western attire.

Senior Jordyn Patterson said, “I dressed up every day this week. I love showing support for my school.”

The Homecoming bonfire is rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. today in the bus loop. A tailgate will take place immediately after and will end at 6:45 p.m.

Beginning at 7 p.m. will be the Homecoming football game against Celebration High School.

The homecoming bonfire was originally set for 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 15.

The homecoming dance will begin at 7 p.m. on Sept.17 in the LRHS gymnasium. The event is expected to end around 10 p.m.

Student Government Association (SGA) member senior John Sirignano said, “I’m excited for the dance because I’m a senior, which means it will be my last homecoming. It will be bittersweet.”
