Olivia Ryan – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – For many Mustangs, turning 16 is a pivotal point in Mustangs’ teenage years.

Since 16 often marks the earliest stage of adulthood, many girls will throw their own sweet 16 party in celebration.

The coming-of-age party typically celebrates with friends or family the end of childhood.

Senior Addyson Bruneman said, “To me, turning 16 meant I was able to drive. It is a huge milestone that makes you feel like you can do anything.”

Driving is the skill that many 16-year-olds are eager to master.

Another important choice that teenagers must face includes college. At 16, students must start preparing for or at least thinking about a career.
