Dakota Wernet – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Junior Advisory Board (JAB) held their first chapter meeting on Sept. 12.
The interviewed and chose candidates for officer positions. Candidates were interviewed by all three advisers: science teacher Tana Phelps, science teacher Elizabeth Coody, and math teacher Magdalena Dormichev.
The current JAB officers are as follows –
- President – Sophia D’Orazio
- Vice president – Alexia Yates
- Treasurer – Dakota Wernet
- Secretary – Hannah Tranle
- Communication Director – Ainsley Ellis
- Graphic Designer – Emily Conelias
- Historian – Ketsia Limexan
D’Orazio said, “We are no longer restricted heavily because of COVID-19, so I am confident that we are able to make this prom one of the best!”
Communication Director Ainsley Ellis said, “I am excited for the upcoming year and look forward to what the year will bring us. I know this team will do great.”

Other JAB members include junior Mustangs Carsyn Dye, Shelby Kovatch, Sophie Lemus.
JAB activities include hosting the LRHS prom and designing club t-shirts.
