(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The varsity football Mustangs lost to Braden River High School Pirates Friday 14-33.

The varsity Mustangs now hold a 1-1 record.

Assistant Coach Rhodes continued that the “slimy wet” rainy weather affected the game play for both teams, and it didn’t help with Mustangs’ turnovers.

Rhodes continued that the offense ran the ball rather well, but success couldn’t be sustained.

Rhodes added, “Sadly, the score dictates how it is. It didn’t do well for us.”

Mustangs play Celebration High School this Friday at home. This will be the Homecoming game.
