Stephanie Green – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity and Junior Varsity (JV) volleyball teams won their games against the Sarasota Sailors.
The varsity team’s set scores were 25-20, 25-11, and 25-18.
The team made 11 kills led by senior Katie Eckstrom.
Senior Kayli Littlejohn helped the team with 25 digs.
Littlejohn said, “This game was really fun, and we were able to get the win which was great.”
Senior Makenzie Puelston made eight blocks in the game, while senior Vanessa Richtford had 25 assists.

Junior varsity also won 25-18 and 25-22
Sophomore Tatyana Macheel said, “We all worked really well together, and we destroyed them.”
The next games will be played against Riverview High School at LRHS. The freshman team will play at 5 p.m., JV at 6 p.m., and varsity at 7 p.m.
