Sam Clapcich – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS geometry and chemistry teacher Robert Collier will be LRHS’ new Technology Student Association (TSA) adviser.
The TSA program focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) lessons that can be very beneficial to Mustangs.
Collier will teach the TSA members skills involving architecture and construction technology, computer science and information technology, and communications technology.
Collier said, “I’m leading TSA to help build the engineering and robotics program at Lakewood Ranch. The TSA program is beneficial for any Mustangs interested. TSA both prepares students for the next level and gives the students the opportunity to complete amazing projects.”
While Collier has no previous experience with TSA, he has big plans to lead the program to success.
“My goal for TSA this year is to improve on our performance at the state championships from last year,” continued Collier.
Before working at LRHS, Collier used to work in medical technology. LRHS will be the first school he teaches at.
