Cassidy McLellan – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS senior class of 2023 has waited four long years and is now rolling into its senior year.

Many senior Mustangs are looking forward to a variety of upcoming events this year.

Senior Addyson Bruneman said, “I am looking forwards to graduating because I want to walk across the stage and get my diploma surrounded by my friends and family.”

Senior Peyton Knight said, “I am looking forward to the senior privileges because I have always looked forwards to them in when I would hear about them in previous years.”

Senior athletes are also excited for their last year of high school sports. Some will even continue playing their sports in college.

Senior Amanda Lee is a Radford University softball commit.

Lee said, “I am excited for softball season and making it to states again. I also cannot wait to go to Radford after I graduate from LRHS and continue playing softball.”

Senior Regan Kelly is a University of South Florida soccer commit.

Kelly said, “This year I am excited to play my last high school soccer season with my friends. I am mostly excited to play at USF next year because I love both my coaches and because I know a lot of the girls in my year, it is close to home.”

Now that the wait is finally over, the class of 2023 is excited to have their best year of high school yet.
