(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Peer Tutoring club is holding its first meeting Thursday to kick off the 2022-2023 school year. The first Peer Tutoring session starts on Thur., Sept. 8.
Peer Tutoring is scheduled to meet every Thursday morning at 7 a.m. in room 517.
Peer tutoring president senior Britlee Yant said, “To me, Peer tutoring is so important. There are many students who need help with classes of many different subjects, and the great thing is that we have so many top-tier scholars who are perfect candidates to be tutors for these students in need.”
Peer tutoring adviser and LRHS fine arts teacher Rebekah Lester said, “The students who come to Peer tutoring can get helped in any subject and can ask their peers any questions they cannot answer by themselves. Students prepare for a test, get help with homework, study for exams and even work on SAT/ACT and PSAT exam preps.”
