LRHS Guardian Timothy Liffey keeps watch in the courtyard

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS welcomed Timothy Liffey as a new school guardian for the 2022-2023 school year. Liffey joins LRHS after 24 years as a New York detective.

Liffey has only worked as a guardian for a year, although he has years of previous law enforcement experience.

Liffey said, “I worked with the FBI’s task force for 10 years, working cases in Africa and Europe, before that I did organized crimes which included wiretaps and narcotics, and before that I was on patrol.”

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Liffey moved to Staten Island after getting married. In December, 2020, Liffey his wife, and his four children moved to Florida.

With one child who recently graduated from LRHS, another who currently attends, and the youngest in Mona Jain Middle school, Liffey actively does his part to serve his children’s school district.

“LRHS is a great school, close to home, staff is awesome, I am very happy to be here,” said Liffey.
