(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS band has many things planned for the 2022-2023 school year

LRHS band director John Schindler said, “We have a busy season planned for the marching band with four FMBC regional competitions including our very own Music in Motion competition on October 22.”

The band is preparing for a competition show titled “Dark Waters,” and a new leadership team for the new year.

“We are also planning a trip to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, LA at the end of December, pending districts approval,” Schindler added.

“I have typically taught band every year but have also had years where I have taught band and orchestra,” said Schindler.
