Blood drives are a successful LRHS tradition.

Dakota Wernet – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Blood Drive committee had their first meeting to discuss applications, future blood drives, and membership.

The meeting informed Mustangs more about the club and gave them an opportunity to meet with new team members.

Membership applications will be due at the next meeting, which is scheduled for next Aug. 29.

Mustangs can include their $15 dues on the application, which will be used to purchase a club t-shirt.

The club is advised by fine arts teacher Rebekah Lester and run by seniors Kate Tuchman and Olivia Heim.

The committee is planning their first blood drive for September. Dates will be announced at a later time.

Junior president-elect Ainsley Ellis said, “I am so excited for this upcoming year for blood drive. We had so many new faces at our new member meeting which is very exciting and have lots of fun things planned.”
