(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS has welcomed many new teachers to the school for the 2022-2023 school year, including new media specialist Audrey Dombroski.

Dombroski has worked as a media specialist for the past 12 years and recently moved from Southeast High School to LRHS.

Dombroski said, “I started out as a public librarian, when I was to get my masters, the department chair for the school library at the time for the college, said no, ‘I see you as a school librarian.’ And she was absolutely right, because being a public librarian would be boring, and I like exciting jobs and staying busy.”

Dombroski continued, “I was and still am a graphic designer, and I worked for about 20 years as a graphic designer. I owned my own business and worked for a newspaper. This is my second career, I still do graphic design, but I mainly design wine labels.”

Dombroski said her experience in graphic design helps her look forward to planned renovations scheduled for the LRHS media center.
