Dominick Kerman– Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS varsity boys soccer coach Vito Bavaro is planning this upcoming season.

Bavaro has high expectations for this year’s team and will host a meeting for all interested Mustangs  after school Thursday in his classroom, 523.

“Like every year our goal is to win districts, regionals and states,” he said.

Last year’s team was very successful, going 18-2-1, losing 3-1 in the state championship game.

Bavaro has been the Mustangs’ coach for 15 years.

“I have coached for over 30 years, with coaching experience on every level,” he added.  

Some of the key players this upcoming season include seniors Leonel Marines, captain Matthew Iacobelli, Diego Frey, Christain Hernandez, captain Cody Conway, and junior captain Noah Rueping.

Marines said, “I am excited for this upcoming season because the team will be good, and we have a ton of potential to succeed.”
