(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Vex Robotics team excelled the national Technical Student Association (TSA) tournament championship over the summer.

The team competed at July’s national conference in Dallas, Texas.

After a rough start, Mustangs prevailed and were able to take second place at the conference.

The Vex Team began working on their robot for the 2022-2023 spin-up.

Vex Liaison Austin Bruce said, “I’m excited to kick off his year. I think this team has the potential it needs to win first place this year.”

Bruce began working on the new protype over the summer by making a more efficient code for a better robot.
