LRHS cheerleaders are ready for the school year

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity cheerleading team is starting their 2022-2023 season on Thursday, August 25 at the home varsity football game against Lemon Bay. 

Both the junior varsity (JV) and varsity teams consist of 15 cheerleaders.

Their competitive team consists of 13 cheerleaders who practice intermediate tumbling, stunts and pyramids almost daily.

LRHS varsity cheer head coach Sherri Haber said, “I am excited for Friday nights! We once again have a very talented group of girls…the girls have taught me how to become a better coach.”

Mustangs can find cheerleaders at both JV and varsity football and basketball games, as well as wrestling matches and on-campus pep rallies.
