(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS has many elective classes, one of them being TV production, a class that produces daily video announcements.
TV production teacher Bryon Stedman said these productions will resume broadcasts Aug. 22.
To start the year, the program will provide new content on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. The show will loop during fourth period in classrooms.
Stedman said, “TV Production teaches students the three stages of TV & Film. Pre-Production, Production and Postproduction.”

This year marks Stedman’s 26th year as a teacher, and his return to LRHS from Palmetto High. In prior years he had 180 students, but this year is a “rebuilding year” with about 125 students.
Some of the class activities students work on are scripting, studio projects, commercial production, and editing.
According to Stedman a great announcement segment has to be “Creative, Concise, and Clever.”
TV production is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) class and is an elective vocational class.
