(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Former LRHS records secretary Kari Keech-Babcock is now a teacher at the school.
Keech-Babcock teaches intensive reading to sophomores.
Keech-Babcock has been working at LRHS for the past five years and is excited to become a teacher this school year.
Keech-Babcock also discussed why she became a teacher, along with her favorite parts of the job.
She said, “I like to build communities and bring positivity into people’s lives that seems to go hand in hand with teaching.
“I’ve only been teaching for three days thus far, but my favorite part is getting to know the students and seeing them enjoy different assignments, especially ones I did not expect them to,” she continued.
