(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS Blood Drive Committee is accepting members for the 2022-2023 school year.
The first meeting is scheduled for 7 a.m., August 22 in room 517. The meeting will discuss important events for the future as well as safety protocols.
The LRHS committee works with Suncoast Blood Centers to help run on-campus and off-campus blood drives throughout the school year.
Junior president-elect Ainsley Ellis is optimistic about the meeting.
“Due to Covid, blood drive lost a lot of members, but we hope to grow our members back this year,” Ellis said.
The follow-up meeting is on August 29 from 7 a.m. in room 517. Club fees and applications are due at this meeting.
