(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Mustangs for Kids club is hosting their first meeting of the 2022-2023 school year after school Thursday in room 923.

All money raised by the Mustangs for Kids club is donated to Schriners Hospital for Children.

Mustangs for Kids is the only club at LRHS affiliated with a college club.

Each year the club hosts a dance marathon, its larges fundraiser. In previous years, the dance marathon has raised nearly $10,000.

Club adviser and LRHS reading teacher Alex Gimmi said, “The most rewarding part of being an adviser is watching students step up and grow into their roles.”
