(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS hosted assemblies for each grade level on Thursday and Friday this week to inform Mustangs about school rules and regulations for the 2022-2023 school year.

Principal Dustin Dahlquist and assistant principal Thomas Bellantonio gathered each class in the auditorium to remind the students of the rules they should follow to make it a successful year.

Dahlquist said, “The focus of this year at Lakewood Ranch High School is on attendance, attitude, and aptitude. I know we are going to have a great year because I know what you are capable of.”

Bellantonio reminded all Mustangs of the basic protocols that all students should strive to follow, such as keeping the campus clean.

Bellantonio said, “We have a lot of visitors, and we want to put our best foot forward and we get a lot of compliments from those visitors. We have a hard-working group of custodians so do them a favor and pick up your trash.”

Bellantonio also wanted to emphasize that Mustangs who fail to follow parking rules will have their privileges revoked.

“It is a coveted prize to get a parking pass at school. We have around 600 spots and over 1200 eligible drivers,” continued Bellantonio.

Administration asks all students to familiarize themselves with the 2022-2023 student’s handbook, which can be found here.

Bellantonio explained, “These are simple reminders but if you have any questions, ask any administrator, we are happy to help.”
