(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The incoming LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) held a meeting discussing plans for the 2022-2023 school year.
New SGA Advisor and Digital Info Tech teacher Tommy Cuervo said, “I’m really excited about SGA next year. We have a great group of students and are looking forward to some great events for students and the faculty.”
The SGA plan to come back in full force for the upcoming year after restrictions caused by Covid-19.
Incoming SGA president junior Brooke Morgan said, “This coming year we will be pushing for many new ideas and events to bring as many students together as possible! We are so excited for next year and what’s in store.”
The team hopes to host new events each day of homecoming week consisting of a movie night, clash of classes, and more.

Aside from homecoming week, the SGA will host new fundraising events and brand-new sporting events.
Sophomore Joyce Gad said, “I am excited for the upcoming year at SGA and that I get to be a part of this group of wonderful people.”
