Ryan Hanson – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Reapers esports team will be attending the National Championship at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex.
The team qualified for nationals based off their performance in the fall season and will represent LRHS against students from all over the United States in Rocket League tournaments.
The tournament is scheduled June 17-19.
The students who qualified for nationals include senior Evan Smith, junior Connor Shilling, sophomore Steven Robinson, and freshman Nicolas Juliano.
Mustang esports head coach and records secretary Kari Keech-Babcock discussed her goals for nationals.
She said, “As head coach, my hopes for our Esports Program is that it continues to grow and flourish. I hope to see students not only gain valuable friendships but also see them grow as leaders.”

This is the team’s second year at LRHS.
