Sophia Bayindiryan – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS Blood Drive and Peer Tutoring Mustangs were awarded scholarships this week.

The Suncoast Blood Scholarships, $1,276.66 each, went to seniors Ariana Majano Perez, Grace Parry, and Reva Gandhi.

LRHS Blood Drive Committee adviser and keyboard teacher Rebekah Lester said “Blood Drive Committee, Suncoast Blood and Bubba Saves Lives Scholarships are sponsored by Suncoast Blood, LHRS Blood Drive Committee and Bubba Saves Lives.  Three students are awarded scholarships from Suncoast blood and two of these scholarships are being matched by Bubba Saves Lives.”

The Peer Tutoring Scholarships are sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Di Domenico from Cool Today.

The Peer Tutoring Scholarships were awarded to seniors Paige Thompson, Reva Gandhi, Joseph Puco, Margaret Burns, and Kaitlyn Smith for $250 each.

Gandhi said, “I felt honored to have been considered for and given these scholarships. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over these last four years.”
