Jared Baker -Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Varsity Softball team will play in the District final against Venice High School.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5 at home. 

Junior Cassidy McLellan said, “I am excited for this district finals game because we have all been doing really well the past couple of games and I can’t wait to see how we do against Venice.”

Sophomore Grace Shaw-Rockey said, “I can’t wait to take the field with the confidence and energy we have with us right now against Venice.”

The team recently defeated Gulf Coast HS 9-0 in the district semi-final.

“We have been getting better each and every time we step on the field,” continued Shaw-Rockey.
