Ceramics teacher Laura Victore said, “Mustangs will talk about problems and solutions addressing hunger and food insecurities in our community, our country, and our world.”
According to Empty Bowls, “We are a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities.”
Over 300 bowls will be on display at this event, and all are encouraged to come out and help the community.
Senior Luke Brown added, “I think it is great that we are about to create beautiful bowls, while at the same time donating these pieces to those in need.”
