The LRHS beach volleyball won the first-ever district title

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS beach volleyball team will host a regional playoff game against Cardinal Mooney at 4 p.m. on May 2 at the UMR Sports Facility.

Mustangs who bring their school ID will get in free and there will be a Smoothie King giveaway for a lucky LRHS fan.

In the program’s first year the Mustangs are district champions and hope to make a state championship appearance.

The team is currently 8-2 on the season.

Head coach Perri Hankins said, “It is impressive that we are district champs in the first year of our program. This group has put in a lot of hard work, has three signed beach players and one signed indoor player.  We also have a mix of continuously improving young players which adds to the team.”
