Ainsley Ellis – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS blood drive committee will host an on-campus blood drive sponsored by Suncoast Blood Centers on Friday.

Suncoast Blood Centers provide blood products to many local facilities such as Moffitt Cancer Center, DeSoto Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Manatee Memorial Hospital and Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System.

Mustangs over the age of 16 may donate.  Mustangs 16 and under will need parental consent.

Mustangs can donate during any class period.

Blood drive committee president senior Reva Ghandi said, “I am so excited for the upcoming blood drive it is as the last one of the school year and it is also the last blood drive I can donate at as a senior.”

Mustangs and can sign up to give blood during all lunches until Thursday.
