(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program had a successful last week at their respective orienteering and rifle team meets.

Orienteering is a sport that requires teams to use compasses and trails to navigate through wooded trails.  It attracts teams from JROTC teams across the country.  Mustangs are divided into Green (advanced), Yellow (beginners) and Orange (intermediate) teams.

The orienteering Mustangs went to their state meet in Apopka, Florida where the yellow team won the overall first place trophy and the orange team placed second overall.
