Maya Rengifo – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) -LRHS Future Health Professionals (HOSA) will be participating in the 2022 HOSA Florida State Leadership Conference April 9 – 12.

This will be the first live conference since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Competitive events include public health, prepared speaking, medical innovation, medical tests, and many more.  Club members began creating, studying, and practicing for their competitive event since the beginning of the year.

HOSA president LRHS senior Anastasia Jenkins is excited to be back in person for her final year of competition.

Jenkins said, “I am very excited to be going back to state competition this year especially since it has been two years due to covid. I can’t wait to make more memories and form bonds with other HOSA members from the state.”

The awards ceremony will be live streamed on the HOSA website from 9-11 p.m. this coming Monday, April 11.
