(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As prom approaches Mustangs are reminded of some important facts to consider.

The 2022 LRHS prom will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 8 at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota.

Hyatt Director of Events Carol Danisi said parking can be an issue that evening.

“I would recommend attendees to plan rides early on,” she said. “It is best for attendees to come earlier so they can guarantee a parking spot.”

Parking at the Hyatt is limited, and Mustangs are encouraged to carpool. Parking will also be available along the Boulevard of Arts and the Van Wesel Performing Arts Hall.

Junior Advisory Board (JAB) adviser and LRHS science teacher Tana Phelps said there are a few things students must consider bringing.

“Please bring your digital receipt and ID,” she said. “Attendees also have the option of bringing a small clutch to carry keys, money, or anything else they might want to bring along. Mustangs should also bring their receipt just in case.”

If Mustangs are bringing a guest, they must be able to provide a matching ID to what was submitted with the guest form. 

Danisi continued, “For a smooth departure, we ask everyone to be patient and orderly. We will have a lot of guests, so we must work together for everyone to enjoy the night.”

Correction – “Mustangs Ahead” originally said students should bring their prom tickets. Instead they should bring their digital receipts. There are no official tickets to the 2022 prom. We apologize for any inconvenience.
