(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As the 2021-2022 school year ends, final exams are approaching for senior Mustangs.

Seniors who earn an 80% or higher in third quarter and an 80% or higher in fourth quarter are eligible for exemptions from second semester exams.

This is the only way senior Mustangs can be exempt from exams.

A single quarter grade of under 80%, even with a semester average of 80% or higher, disqualifies seniors from exemption.

For example, a senior who has an 81% grade in third quarter and a 79% grade in fourth quarter would not be exempt.

“The exam schedule for seniors will be released soon,” said senior class adviser and LRHS math teacher Ann Fleury.

Senior Reva Gandhi added, “I’m super relieved for exam exemptions because it takes a lot of pressure off of the last few weeks of senior year and I can enjoy the remainder of my last year of high school.”
