Dodgeball returns to LRHS

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Stampede Club and Student Government Association (SGA) are teaming up to host a dodgeball tournament at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 4 in the LRHS gym.

There are 13 teams in the double elimination dodgeball tournament. The winners will get medals and other prizes.

LRHS digital info tech teacher and Stampede adviser Tommy Cuervo said, “The teachers’ dodgeball team is going to take the win. Every other team is playing for second place.”

Junior Joseph Vilasi disagreed, “Average Joe’s will come out on top, just like the movie “Dodgeball.”

Dodgeball tournaments have been held at LRHS for at least eight years.

The tournament will be open to the public and tickets will cost $3.
