“We saw lots of hard work and progress from all the students involved on both teams this year and a congratulations for all the students is definitely an order. I’ve had students really step up to the plate this year and I’m excited to see them flourish in our band program,” said LRHS band director John Shindler.
This was the first time the percussion section has been able to compete since 2019 due to COVID-19 and this this was the last opportunity to compete for graduating.
Senior Konstantino Papageorgio said, “Being in band has truly changed my life and I am so happy I got one more chance to perform and compete with my friends and feel what it’s like to be on stage.”
