Andrew Deppen and Alyssa Gonzalez – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – On Thursday the LRHS boys weightlifting team finished third overall at the Manatee County Championships.

Jayden Munoz paced first in the 129lb weight class and senior Aiden Zimmerman placed first in the  154lb weight class.

Zimmerman stated, “Being a part of this team is something that I can look back on in the future and be proud of all my achievements and how far I’ve come.”

Zimmerman added, “I have hopes to make it to state championships this year. It’ll be something new, and a goal to reach throughout the season.”
