Maya Rengifo – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Silver Stars dance team will perform alongside 11 other teams to prove, “Yes, We Can Dance” this weekend.

Show time for the Mustangs will be at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 at the Manatee High School auditorium.

The “Yes, We Can Dance” (YWCD) annual collaborative performance makes a comeback after two years on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

LRHS senior Alexa Hymes said, “We are excited to compete at YWCD, this will be a first more many dancers on the team.”

Other scheduled participating teams are the Bayshore Honeybears, Braden River Black Pearls, Lee Lightning Performing Arts, Manatee Sugar Canes, Manatee School for the Arts Heat, Manatee School for the Arts Inferno, MSA Turning Pointe Ballet, Palmetto Dazzlers, Parrish Community Blue Belles, Rowlett Middle Academy Dancers, and Southeast Nolettes.
