The task for the competitors is to find a problem or improvement that can be made in a category and develop a solution or a way to work through it.
“I am very proud of the Mustangs who are moving on to the state competition this weekend, as they have stayed dedicated to FCCLA through many ups and downs. FCCLA helps develop leadership skills in students that they will take with them in the future,” said chapter adviser Elaine Bowling.
Andrea Mondragon is the district 7 chairperson and LRHS chapter vice president of competitive events.
“I am very excited for states because this is the first in person conference since 2019. FCCLA is a big part of how I started channeling my professional side and with competitive events, it has helped me become a better leader for the community,” said Mondragon.
