Mustang electives – TV production provides technical, professional skills

With the new school year coming, many Mustangs may not know about all the courses LRHS offers. The electives prove Mustangs real world opportunities and teach them engaging and critical life skills.

Ainsley Ellis– Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS TV production program is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) class which can help Mustangs later in life in careers in this field.

In TV production, Mustangs create video scripts, write story boards, and edit videos.

TV production teacher Jessica Pellicone said, “TV production is a great class to take as it helps students get comfortable behind the camera. It is also a great class for students that want to go into the production field get ready for the real world.”

Also, Mustangs in TV production film and host “Mustangs Midday,” the news broadcast to all of LRHS.

This class is great for Mustangs who want to get involved with the professional production field, as it gives them an eye-opening experience to what it will be like.
