Kari Keech-Babcock is recognized for Excellence in Education

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS records secretary Kari Keech-Babcock won district support employee of the year at the 2022 Manatee County Excellence in Education awards.

The ceremony was held on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at Manatee Technical College (MTC).

Keech-Babcock was one of eight finalists for the award and was awarded a $5,000 cash prize provided by Suncoast Credit Union.

Keech-Babcock spoke of advice she would give to those around her.

“Make sure to keep building communities, living for kids, and investing in relationships,” stated Keech-Babcock.

Keech-Babcock has worked in Manatee County for four years and is known for being an advocate for teamwork and investing in the community.  She also serves as the school’s esport program coach.

Manatee County superintendent Cynthia Saunders said, “It warms my heart to see the talent in the amazing employees we have.”
