LRHS drama opens cabaret auditions

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Mustang Players are holding open auditions 2:30 – 6 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 18 for their upcoming spring cabaret show.

All Mustangs auditioning must prepare 16 bars of a song and participate in a short dance combination.

It is recommended that Mustangs bring a change of clothes and shoes so they can move comfortably.

This will be the first live musical theatre performance at LRHS in two years.

Drama director Roxane Caravan said, “This is a great opportunity to get back onstage and be part of our theatre family.”

The production combines a collection of musical theatre solos, duets, and ensemble pieces from many Broadway shows.

A signup sheet for Mustangs interested is available in Room 209.

Caravan added, “We are looking for Mustangs of all talent levels including singers, dancers, and even technicians. Don’t be nervous, don’t compare yourself to others, and mostly importantly, have fun.”
