Erin-Elizabeth Purcell – Mustangs Ahead 


(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS freshman enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year has officially opened and will close on Friday, March 11. A virtual freshman orientation is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday.

LRHS counselors will also be visiting the following middle schools throughout the district –

  • Tuesday, Feb. 22 – R. Dan Nolan
  • Wednesday, Feb. 23 – Halie
  • Thursday, Feb. 24 – Braden River Middle
  • Friday, Feb. 25 – Mona Jain

The meeting will entail discussions about graduation requirements, course registration forms, scheduling changes, behavioral expectations as well as explaining how credits work, and grade point average (GPA).

School counselor Teresa Rey stated, “Colleges start looking at your classes and grades starting in ninth grade, so it is important to take all your classes seriously and do your best in them. “

As of right now incoming Mustangs need to be sure they are filling out their high school registration forms and receiving all necessary parent and teacher signatures, as well as making sure they are received by the due date in order to insure proper enrollment.
