Ainsley Ellis – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Mustang athletes have several important sporting events this week.

The girls varsity basketball team will play their senior night game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at home against Lemon Bay.

Senior Hannah Pruszinske said, “I’m really excited for senior night but it’s also saddening knowing that this is my last game at home. This season has had its ups and downs, but I feel like we’re really starting to click as a team and play together.”

The boys varsity and junior varsity (JV) basketball teams will be travel to Braden River away on Friday, Jan. 29. The JV team will play at 6 p.m. and the varsity team will play at 7:30 p.m.

Junior Jake Wellander said, “This upcoming basketball game is really exciting since it is a rival game. I know our team is going to thrive and beat the pirates.”

The girls varsity soccer team will be playing against Riverview on Friday, Jan. 29 at home for their senior night.
